We have an exciting garden volunteer day planned for our Youth Club and Parents & Toddler group at our supported accommodation for deaf people, located at Slateford Green Edinburgh. Come along and join the residents of Slateford Green in their garden area as we help them improve the space by planting some new vegetables. If the weather is nice we will have a BBQ, refreshments will also be provided.
Anyone from the Youth Club or Parent & Toddler Group is welcome to come along and lend a hand as we get stuck into the garden project and help support our deaf community.
Inflatable 5k Race
Last year members of our Youth Club ran the Inflatable 5k Race to help raise money for Slateford Green in order for them to make improvements to the garden space. Now we can help the residents again by rolling up our sleeves and helping them them to dig up the old space and plant new vegetables and plants.
Meeting point
For anyone wishing to join please meet at the staff base at 7/2 Slateford Green at 11:30am. Please wear some old clothes and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty and any gardening tools that you might have. If it’s sunny also don’t forget to bring some sun cream, some will also be provided.
Please use the registration form below if you wish to attend, as we are providing food and refreshments we would like to know how many people are attending.
We look forward to seeing you there!
