Aberdeenshire Council, RNIB Scotland, Deaf Action and Deaf Blind Scotland are pleased to launch the Sensory Loss Training Programme. Designed to offer specialist and innovative training to support people within organisations to have a better understanding of employing and retaining staff with sensory loss.
Delegates will have an opportunity to attend specialist workshops delivered by organisations working in the sensory loss field, where they can learn more about making recruitment practices accessible, hear first hand from people with sensory loss and their experiences in employment, best practice in retaining staff with sensory loss, making reasonable adjustments and risk assessing in the work place.
This is an all day event, lunch and refreshments will be provided. We very much hope you can join us for this specialist professional development day.
