Firstly we’d like to thank everybody that supported our garden make over day at Easthill on Saturday 8th June.  With over 40 volunteers showing up, we were able to make a big impact on the garden – from weeding, to repairing broken stone and wooden structures, painting and planting to make the garden a beautiful place for our residents to enjoy.  What an amazing bunch of people donating their time and visiting Easthill at their own expense, then working so incredibly hard.

Special thanks of course must go to Amanda Casson-Webb and Karen Baitup for coming up with the idea and spurring us all into action!

We are also grateful to the many businesses and individuals that donated goods towards the project.

Such was our success that we have arranged another volunteer event at Easthill – taking place 12th and 13th October – so if you can come on either day or both of those days, you would be most welcome.  The more the merrier.

If you are available to join us in October, it would help our preparations and catering if you could sign up via our form below.  You will receive a response directly from the Garden project giving details of the weekend, including travel and accommodation options.

If you are not able to make the October weekend, why not donate to our Just Giving page.  This will help us to further the work needed on the garden, such as new furniture, plants etc.

Thank you all for your support!
