Within Deaf Action’s home in Edinburgh, we have been busy planning how best to create a library. We want this library to be brimming with books, stories and knowledge, and of course, to be a celebration of our community’s culture and heritage.
To bring this vision to life, we need your help. We’re on a book hunt! Do you have any books lying around that you can donate?
If you have books gathering dust on a shelf, we’d love to give them a new home in our community library. Whether it’s a favourite novel, an intriguing non-fiction read, or something that reflects deaf culture and history, every contribution counts.
We hope to collect as many books as possible during March and April 2024. Of course donations after this time would be welcome too.
