We are delighted to announce that this year’s Edinburgh Deaf Festival programme has officially launched and tickets are now on sale!
Join us from 11 – 20 August 2023 to see some of the finest deaf talent from across Scotland and the UK.
We are proud to present a captivating programme featuring over 60 events, including theatre performances, comedy shows, workshops, tours, and exhibitions, all shining a spotlight on the rich diversity and talent within the deaf community.
After the success of the festival in 2022, this year’s festival will celebrate and showcase even more deaf culture, language, heritage and creativity. Our aim is to give deaf people access to the arts in a new and exciting way, whilst giving mainstream audiences the opportunity to immerse themselves in our rich culture. This is a festival for everyone.
All performances will be accessible to deaf and hearing audiences through BSL, BSL/English interpretation, or captions. Performances will be at Deaf Action, 49 Albany Street, Edinburgh, and other venues across the city.
