Deaf Action and Heriot-Watt University have been working together for many years, with our values centred around the rights of deaf people. Now, we’re proud to have formalised our partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding.
Together we will:
- support each other with knowledge sharing, research and deaf studies
- increase opportunities for interpreters in training
- protect and celebrate deaf history and culture
- We’re thrilled to be working together to create inclusive societies where deaf people can thrive.
