We are proud to announce that ASLI (Association of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators) is now the ‘Health and Wellbeing’ sponsor of this year’s Edinburgh Deaf Festival.

Their sponsorship will go towards the vital wellbeing of all volunteers, interpreters, captioners, performers and staff during the festival by providing wellbeing resources, healthy food and refreshments, as well as a relaxing massage chair. The massage sessions have been integrated to relieve any stress or strain the performers and festival team may feel during the busy festival season.

Tessa Slaughter, ASLI Board Member, said:
“ASLI is delighted to be supporting the Edinburgh Deaf Festival again this year. We are the largest membership body in the UK for sign language interpreters and translators, and are pleased to be showing our commitment to the wellbeing of those working in the deaf arts sector by sponsoring the festival.”

Thank you to ASLI for their generous support and continued commitment to the health and wellbeing of our festival staff.
