Deaf Action were delighted to be nominated this year for a FaME (Faculty of Medical Educators) Award for our four-week Deaf Awareness & BSL course we run with medical students from the University of Dundee.
FaME awards were established to acknowledge, reward and encourage excellence in the teaching of undergraduate medical students. They are organised by the student-led FaME Committee, who give students the opportunity to recognise and vote for who they wish to present an award with.
