Join us for a special Digital Inclusion Workshop to discuss online safety. According to the UK’s national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre, Action Fraud, over 35,434 hacks through social media and email were reported in 2024.
Come along and learn about online safety and how you can safeguard yourself against potential online scams, fraud and more. There will be a presentation on examples of various online scams, as well as a printed resources booklet that users can take home with them
Our specialist Digital Skills Officer will also cover a range of topics about online safety, including:
- What is a scam?
- Different types of scams
- What should I do if I’m scammed?
- How can we prevent scams?
