Deaf Action Youth Services and Deaf History Scotland are organising a new Youth Club History Club event called “Deaf heritage of Edinburgh” where we will enjoy a special walking tour around Edinburgh led in BSL by guide Trudi Collier.
Trudi will share fascinating stories about Edinburgh’s deaf history, including important people, places, and hidden details you might not notice as you walk through the city.
After the tour, we will return to Deaf Action for a fun and interactive Tour Guide Taster Workshop, where you will be a chance to discover what it might be like to be a guide. You’ll learn storytelling skills, how to keep people interested, and have a go at guiding others yourself.
