We are delighted to announce that Deaf Action will continue to be the Gold Sponsor of our friends at Deaf UK 50+ for the next two years, including 2024 and 2025. We will also sponsor Liz Jones’s time to attend as a committee member and volunteer interpreter during these trips.
In 2023, we sponsored trips to Blackpool & Edinburgh and we can’t wait to support the next annual Deaf UK 50+ holiday to the Isle of Wight! Somewhere that is close to our heart, as that is where our deaf care home, Easthill, is located.
For over 20 years Deaf UK 50+ have been providing an invaluable service to the deaf community, helping to enhance the lives of deaf people and create friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
At Deaf Action we strive to empower all deaf people to have equal access and fully participate in society. We look forward to continue working together with DeafUK50+ and helping to develop the important work they do in promoting accessibility and inclusivity within the deaf community.
